Children’s climbing on the Sattelberg

Children’s via ferratas on the Sattelberg children’s mountain

As a special attraction for families, there are 4 children’s climbing routes in Ramsau am Dachstein. Children’s climbing on the Sattelberg is a great opportunity for beginners to take their first steps on the rock. Children, teenagers and beginners can get to know the basic techniques of via ferrata and complete the via ferrata license with a Ramsau mountain guide. Safety, alpine knowledge and the right equipment are explained professionally.

With Kali, the 1st children via ferrata in the Alps, Kala, Kalo and Heidi, there are different levels of difficulty for every ability. Safely secured for children, the via ferratas lead from the old Ramsau farmer’s mill in Ramsau Rössing to the Sattelberg summit at 1252 m. An experience with a wonderful view of the Hotel Matschner and the Ramsau high plateau is guaranteed.
