With Kali’s magical winter world, a unique adventure area was created especially for the little ones. Here the time to learn to ski flies by. Due to its terrain and its sunny orientation, the ski region is ideal for children, beginners and families. The flat, wide pistes can mainly be reached by car, which is particularly appreciated by families with small children.
You go up the mountain on magic carpets and tow lifts because it’s easier to get on here. Then they race off: through Kali’s belly, pay a visit to the giant stone heads and, and, and… Finally, you meet again in the “Kaliland” of the respective ski school.
From beginners to off-piste skiers. The Ramsau ski region with 8 lifts on the plateau including the Rittisberg offers the right slopes for every ability. If this offer is not enough for you, you are only a quarter of an hour away from the unlimited fun on the slopes of the Schladming-Dachstein ski region. In the ski association with Ski amadé, a total of 760 kilometers of slopes and 270 lifts are available to you with just one ticket.
Ski schools
As a special service, the local ski schools offer care beyond the children’s ski course. So the parents can enjoy their day of skiing to the fullest and the kids are in good hands in the Bambini world of the ski school.
Snow adventures for kids
In Ramsau am Dachstein there is a children’s cross-country park with a wave track, small jumps and more. Which gives children great pleasure in handling the narrow skis. The entire Ramsau trail network, including the cross-country park, is free for children up to the age of 15.
At the Drachenlift there is a separate Zipfelbob run for fun races next to the ski slope for the children. The ski lift takes you to the start and off you go!
The Dachstein Ice Palace is a popular attraction for families at any time of the year. In the mystical world of ice, music and light you dive deep into the interior of a glacier. You can marvel at the detailed carved figures, ice pillars and a crystal dome. In addition, there are seasonal special exhibitions such as the dinosaurs and Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun to the moon landing.
